CONSULAR FEES
AND PROCESSING TIME

All
consular fees should be paid in cash at the SAMBA Bank (account no. 0001908189) - Diplomatic Quarter Branch, using a slip
supplied by the Embassy.
-
Nationals from certain countries require consultation
with the Brazilian Ministry of External Relations, prior
to the issuing of their visas. Processing time may take a
minimum of five working day.
Application

The consular fee for a tourist visa is (SR 90.00). Based
on reciprocity, however, nationals of the following
countries are charged as follows: Australia (SR 157.50);
Canada (SR 292.50); Japan (SR 112.50); Nigeria
(SR 292.50); Mexico
(SR 135.00). For United Arab
Emirates citizens, an additional processing fee of (SR
247.50) is applicable, based on reciprocity.

US
nationals are subject to a processing visa fee of (SR 630.00),
on a reciprocity basis.
- UAE nationals are subject to a processing visa fee of (SR 274.50),
on a reciprocity basis.

Processing time may take a minimum of five working day.
Application via
courier or travel agent and post post
- An
additional fee of SR 90.00 will be charged.
- This
fee does not cover the posting of documents. For posting the documents, the embassy recomends the use of a "courier service".

OTHER RELEVANT
INFORMATION
- In
times of heavy workload waiting times will increase.
Therefore, do not leave your application to the last
minute and do not commit yourself to travel plans until
you know when your visa will be issued.
